Obituaries
Beulah “Boots” Hiner, age 77, of
Lawton, Oklahoma, formerly of Huntington, died Saturday
(August 30, 2008) in Lawton.
Mrs. Hiner worked for Square D in Huntington for several years. She attended schools in High Hat, KY.
Boots was born on April 7, 1931 in Fed, Kentucky, to James B. and Cora Lea (Estep) Elswick. She married Ivan E. Hall in 1948 and he died in 1976. In 1996, she married Earl Hiner and after he passed in 2000, she then married Vern Montington. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Survivors include one son – Ivan E. (Pamela) Hall, Jr. of Lawton, OK; one daughter – Sharon Miller of Ft. Wayne; two brothers – Clayton Elswick and Hershell Elswick both of Taylor, Michigan; three sisters – Velma (Bud) Hay of Warren, Jewell (Ralph) Turner of Sharonville, Ohio and Annabell (Charles) Reid of Allen, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren – Taylor Hall, Parkar Hall, Spenser Hall, Byron Buchanan, Jeremy Buchanan, Priscilla Lock, Stephen Buchanan, Michael Hess and Kristy Hess, and 9 great-grandchildren. Her parents, her husbands, brothers – Elmer Elswick and Delmer Elswick, sister – Jeanette Martin, and daughter – Debra Hess, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday (September 5, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday (September 6, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Reverend Elzie Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
