Betty Marjorie Sutton, 81, 300 Crown Hill Drive, Huntington, died at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday (February 26, 2008) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

     Mrs. Sutton was a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntington.

     Betty was born April 6, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of Edward and Anna (Barsa) Votruba. She married John Nelson Sutton in Detroit, MI on August 7, 1946.

     Survivors include her husband of 61 years – John N. Sutton of Huntington; eight daughters – Mrs. Mark (Sherie) Pyle of Ft. Wayne, Mrs. Jim (Vicki) Irick of Harlan, IN, Sheila Sutton and Mrs. Dave (Vivian) Brosamer of South Whitley, IN, Lynn Sutton of St. Petersburg, FL, Mrs. Dan (Julie) Sunderman of Marshall, MI, Mrs. Dan (Susi) Williams of Dayton, OH, Mrs. Doug (Barbi) Stephan of North Manchester; nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.  Two brothers – James and Kenneth Votruba, preceded her in death.

     A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (February 29, 2008) with visitation one hour prior, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St.  Father John Pfister will be officiating.
