Betty C. Douglass, age 60, Huntington, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Friday (March 14, 2008) at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

     Ms. Douglass retired from Square D Company, Huntington, where she worked for 38 years in quality control.  Betty attended the Northview Church of Christ, and loved her pets.

     Betty was born on June 22, 1947 in Maryville, TN, the daughter of George H. and Charldean (Boyd) Douglass.

     Survivors include her sister – Kathy Crago of Huntington; a brother – Roy E. Douglas of Huntington; three nephews; three nieces; 16 great nieces and nephews; and 3 beloved pets – Doodles, Lizzie, and Daisy.  Her parents and a brother – Archie L. Douglas preceded her in death.

     Visitation will be 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday (March 18, 2008) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (March 19, 2008) at the Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Scribner officiating.  Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.

     Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Huntington County Humane Shelter in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive Huntington, IN.
